Data Tracking

The FRWD program supports waste diversion data tracking in the Front Range through the Municipal Measure Program (MMP). The program equips local governments with tools and reports to enhance waste diversion capacity and success, including decision-making tools, program performance evaluations, benchmarking, and recommendations.

Baseline Assessments & Data

FRWD contracted with Eco-Cycle to collect data on the current state of waste diversion programs and policies within the municipalities and counties of Colorado’s Front range. This report complements the Greater Colorado Waste Diversion Baseline Assessment dashboard, which displays data on the current state of waste diversion programs and policies outside of the Front Range. The data collected includes the number of Front Range residents who have access to services like curbside recycling and organics collection, how that service is paid for, and current diversion rates. The data establishes a baseline number for which municipalities have already adopted a waste reduction and diversion plan, and those who may require additional assistance to establish a program.
